Test Structure

Listening
4 sections (30 minutes) testing your understanding of conversations and monologues in English.
Reading
3 passages (60 minutes) with questions based on academic or general topics depending on your module.
Writing
2 tasks (60 minutes): one visual description and one essay on a given topic.
Speaking
An interview (11–14 minutes) face-to-face with a certified examiner.

IELTS Band Score Chart
IELTS is scored on a 0–9 band scale. Each section — Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking — is graded, and the average forms your overall band score.
